
ABOUT KRISTEN
Born and raised in New York City, I have a passion for all things food and drink. I moved to New Orleans for college and fell in love with the city, its culture, way of life and people. New Orleans is where my professional story started.
After college, I worked as a freelance journalist for various outlets in the city and was the online marketing manager at Antoine's Restaurant. While there, I helped herald the old-school restaurant into the modern age by creating and managing all of their social media accounts, redesigning their menu, updating their website, and helping celebrate their 175th Anniversary! My work at Antoine's is where I truly cultivated my love for food and drink.
Four years later, I decided to merge my two loves, writing and food, by going into the food studies master's program at NYU last fall. I plan to use my degree to jump start a career in the food writing sphere.
